people say!

I believe the actors who have the greatest chance of longevity, are those who know themselves extremely well combined with unwavering resilience.

This not only means you physically stay in the game longer, but you also create something far more unique.

I work holistically, practically, and perhaps most importantly, realistically with each individual.

I am patient, challenging, direct and inspirational and I suit creative people who like to work hard, are open and receptive to new ideas and ways of thinking, and who like to laugh a lot along the way!

“Perfect! Alicia is fantastic and my daughter looks forward to every session. Alicia is always professional, encouraging and has a lovely personable approach to the work. She is so generous with her time, really listens to Mia (my daughter) and pays attention to ensure she is getting the most out of the experience. I'd highly, highly recommend her to anyone thinking of working with an acting coach.”

  • Arran

“My experience so far with Alicia has been extremely informative, very interactive, and enjoyable. She has been able to make the beginning of learning the art of voiceovers smooth, exciting, and engaging. I feel like I am making progress and it is thanks to her responsive and honest style of teaching. She is great at highlighting what works, and pinpointing and explaining what does not. She makes you see how you can get better, then sets you on the path of motivated self-work to make sure there's no spoon-feeding. A worthwhile and enriching time!”

  • Iana

Alicia is wonderful! Brilliant mentor that guided me in my own journey to my goals. Personally she helped with any questions I might have at the time and I found useful advice on acting approach, self-tapes and techniques. Alicia really helped with changing my mindset and look at things with different perspectives I couldn't think of (or was scared to). Every session I had with Alicia, gave me one of the kind invaluable learning process, that I never received at any acting course or workshop! I’m so lucky and grateful to have the opportunity to learn and grow with Alicia.

  • Terry

“Alicia was so fun and likeable and really wonderful to spend time with. She also knows her stuff and didn't mince her words when it came to helping me to pinpoint what it was I was really looking for. She helped me to understand what my job is, which I thought I knew but I didn't. She also gives so much of herself and goes above and beyond. I have definitely grown from the experience and would reccomend her to anyone who's stuck in a rut in their career.”

  • Toñi

“100% (recommended)...these sessions can only be of benefit and make you think outside the box and also open your mind to new thinking and different avenues you never thought about. This is the kind of help I have been needing for a long time. I am glad I found it.”

  • Marissa

“Alicia's coaching sessions - life changing! Wherever you are in life, she truly helps you to clear away the cobwebs to unearth what's already there. Alicia's honest approach guides you with a sparkle in her eye and a warmth in her heart.”

  • Georgia

“Alicia's coaching is clear, individualised and straight to the point. She focuses the path to your goals with wit and warmth - I would highly recommend Planet Coaching to anyone looking to progress to the next level in their career.”

  • Vincent

“Alicia is a personable Coach... she listens carefully and gives tips and tricks... I really appreciate her engagement and especially after finding the right solution. Also important to mention is her extensive knowledge of the film and acting industry, which is of great benefit…”

  • Leonie

“Alicia has a wonderfully candid and fresh approach to coaching, I found her listening and reframing skills invaluable to help me find clarity when I was feeling particularly lost. I also found the tasks that she set very practical and useful to actually get to the crux of what I want 'Straight to the honey pot' as Alicia would say. Some moments can be confronting, Alicia doesn't shy away from what you might be avoiding or not admitting, I found this incredibly helpful to cut out all the nonsense and grab the blocks right by the balls. No bullshit - just active practical steps to get you back on track. I could not recommend her enough.”

  • Mel

“I love Alicia's direct & honest approach. She understood the real me from the start & guided me to find the answers myself. After only 4 sessions I can already see the difference her coaching has made. Caring. Supportive. Highly recommended.”

  • Andrew

“Working with Alicia has given me the opportunity and determination to achieve my goals. One goal in particular was to create a short film based on my life as a sufferer of mental illness. The process was very challenging and demanding. Alicia was able to put me at ease. She cared about me and wanted me to do well. She was always compassionate and approachable. Working together I was able to curate my film. It has now been shot and due to be released. Thank you Alicia!”

  • Jessica

“Alicia taught me so much in just one session. I am using it DAILY! And after a week I am already feeling much better and more confident in myself. She has a personable and unique approach which is exactly what I needed. Real life tools which I could take away and put into practice.”

  • Andrew

“I would highly recommend Alicia as a coach. Her directness, can do attitude and hands-on approach inspires me. Her individual work with me has given me a great outlook for my future, further developing me as a performer and person as a whole.”

  • Toñi

“Approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt listened to, relaxed and very hopeful, even after the very first session. My head was spinning around... But it felt good." "What I found particularly beneficial was the little details that can help you create a connection with an agent, a casting director, in order to make your communication more personal.”

  • Maria

“Coaching is a big positive I will take from this lockdown, and I feel it has been of great benefit to me. After all, it is through your coaching that I came to my writing project of 2018 again. On a personal level I found you an absolute delight to work with - you are very focussed, positive and encouraging. I have really benefitted from the techniques and guidance you have given me.”

  • Renu

“Alicia has a naturally person-centred approach. Being an actor, she has a instinctive knowing of our creative industry, which makes working with her a joy. She is warm, kind, and will always hold you to your highest potential - this is something I value greatly about working with Alicia. I knew in my heart that she held me to my best, and believed in me beyond question. The exercises and tools she offered were gently encouraging, and always with my purpose in mind. Her insight and wisdom navigated a shared path to reveal my best and most truthful self. I would recommend Alicia in a heartbeat.”

  • Toñi

“I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much Alicia, you have given me the tools and the confidence to approach agents. Your relaxed, friendly and approachable manner made it a great experience, as well as your wealth of knowledge. I'm very happy.”

Working with me

  • Honesty & Integrity. If you want to be a prima ballerina and you're 45 and you’ve never danced and you don’t leave your sofa very often, I’m going to present you with the facts (breaking it to you gently!). However, by the end of the session, we’ll have booked you on an adult beginners ballet class. Because, hey, I’m not always right. But I will help you see the bigger picture - clearly (and not just when it comes to ballet!)

  • An individual approach. I will not ask you to join Facebook groups (I’m not on it…), WhatsApp chats, or subscribe to a channel of some kind where you become a username. You will never be encouraged to ‘hop on’ a Zoom with 20 (or 100!) other participants. I know a lot of business coaches will berate me and tell me I’m mad. I simply don’t care. I know there is more value — for both you and me — in 1-2-1s (or 2-2-1s for mock castings - which are also cheaper per person!).

  • Humour. It’s only acting. We’re not operating on someone’s brain. There will be some very serious moments (maybe even profound moment if we’re lucky!) but a smile is just a tiny muscle movement away. And I promise you, that lightness is really necessary — not just so we feel happier in the time we spend together — but also in the doing. In the creating. In the trying out. In the practice. In the craft. In the words. In life. You’ll see :)

  • Yes! I used to have my coaching as an entirely separate entity under Planet Coaching. And as of 2024, I’m all under one roof. Like Toys R Us (Toys R Us, Toys R Us). If you are a previous Planet Coaching client, fill in the form above and I’ll get you back on the list!

  • No. I really wish I could, because that would be ACTUAL magic-magic and that would make me so cool and so rich! No-one can guarantee anyone else’s success. Ever. Fullstop. Underlined. Repeat.

  • I do not.

  • All sessions are 1-2-1 except mock castings which can be split with another actor

  • Both face-to-face (London or Brighton) and online are available.

  • I have a 24hr reschedule policy. This works both ways as I know all too well that our schedules can change pretty quickly!

All sessions are to be paid for 48hrs before the class.

    I don’t offer refunds.

  • Nope! The majority of my clients to date have been actors and voice artists in the UK and Internationally. I have also coached small-business owners, Directors, Musicians, creatives returning to work, writers and media personalities. I refuse to coach other coaches as that whole thing feels like a giant pyramid scheme.
